Todd is originally from Bamberg, South Carolina, and Lori from Phoenix, Arizona. We met in the middle, in Branson, Missouri, where we married after knowing each other for three days…believe it or not!
God made it SO clear to us: “This is the way; walk in it”.
Ten months later we had our Kendra Joy...a first baby for us both, and we were in our early forties! Is God so amazingly good to us or what? He told us over and over that first day that He was restoring back to us the years the locusts had eaten.
Wow! We both had a lot of years eaten away…
Then, in January 2007, at the leading of our Lord, we got rid of our belongings, packed our instruments and then two-year-old daughter into our car, and set off across the country, to share the music and messages the Lord has given us.
The day after we first made the decision to go at the Lord's leading, we got a call from a church in Corpus Christi, TX inviting us to share. That was encouraging! As we’ve taken each step in faith, the Lord gave us more steps to take.
It started with one church, which led to another, and then another. We ended up sharing in more than 50 different churches across the country that first year. Todd shares a powerful testimony of how the grace of God is sufficient even for a man who spent nearly 16 years in prison. (Read Todd's Testimony here.)
After he gave his heart to Jesus Christ while still in prison, he was given a gift for writing the most anointed songs. We share these songs in the services, and see how the power of God touches people through the music.
Todd also shares about the love, mercy and GRACE of Jesus Christ, and uses the wonderful gift of encouragement he has, to edify and lift up the Body of Christ, helping people into a closer walk with the Lord.
He also has many fruitful times of fellowship with the Pastors, many who are in need of refreshing, encouragement, and sometimes just confirmation of the direction they are going. He is sensitive to the burdens they bear, and how to pray an effectual prayer that brings about the changes that are needed within the church.
